FEATURE
SIS elastomer is styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer, which is a new type of thermoplastic elastomer. These SIS copolymers provide increased adhesion and flexibility to adhesive applications such as tapes and labels while offering soft stretch, a comfortable feel, and an excellent fit to elastic attachment adhesives in hygiene products such as diapers.
SIS elastomers have many excellent properties such as thermoplasticity, high elasticity, low melt index and solution viscosity and good compatibility with tackifying resins.
APPLICATION
Widely used in adhesives, coatings, plastic and asphalt modification. They can be used to make sanitary towels, paper diapers, double-sided adhesives, labels, etc.
